GENERAL LESSONS INFO:
I make it a priority to get to know you or your child on a personal level and to become familiar with your or your child's personal musical needs and goals. I do not treat every student the same in terms of what and how I teach. The main reason to choose me as your music teacher is that I am sensitive to the fact that every student is an individual. If you enroll with me for lessons, I will work with you to make a plan that will fit you or your child's needs and musical preferences. At the first lesson I will ask you about you or your child's favorite type of music, and set goals to help you or your child accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have for yourself or your child. I also make learning fun! I do this by teaching you or your child the songs the individual would like to learn in addition to building a solid foundation from a method book. I balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you or your child is challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but then end with something fun such as you or your child's favorite song to jam together to.
PIANO LESSONS:
I focus mainly on worship music, popular music, and classical. I will show you or your child how to read music, give solid technique and theory, and they'll incorporate the songs desired to learn in the process. You do not have to have a piano at home to take lessons. An electronic keyboard will suffice. Students will need to bring their music and a lesson plan notebook with them each week.
VOICE & SINGING LESSONS:
I focus mainly on worship music or popular music. Voice students spend time each week doing a variety of physical exercises to improve range, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation, and more. Voice students bring in songs that they want to learn so that I can help them to reach their unique goals and become the singer they want to be. Students will need to bring their music, water bottle, and a lesson plan notebook with them each week.
RATES FOR PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS OR MENTORING (In-Person):
Tuition is $120 per month for one, 30 minute lesson per week. For a second sibling (or student in the family), there will be a discount of $10 per month for each student added in that house.
RATES FOR ZOOM MUSIC LESSONS OR MENTORING:
Tuition is $100 per month for one, 30 minute lesson per week. For a second sibling (or student in the family), there will be a discount of $5 per month for each student added in that house.
PAYMENT FOR LESSONS:
Initial payment will be due upon signing up. Once signed up and the time slot is filled and held, Monthly Paymentswill then be due on the 1st of each month. You can pay through Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check. If a child is sick, I will reschedule that lesson for them when they are well. If you need to cancel, I will need a 24 hour notice in order to reschedule a lesson (unless due to sickness). There will be no rebates or price changes for missed lessons. Rescheduling your lesson is always the best option to not get behind in learning, if schedule permits.

Tuition is $50 per month

(Group Music theory will include some piano theory, but mainly music theory in general.)
