Holly's love for music started as soon as she could hear the sound. With her mom being a worship leader and her dad being a pastor who was also a drummer, music was a huge part of their family and upbringing. Holly started taking piano lessons from her older sister, Heather, when she was 4 years old. She continued taking lessons with two other teachers throughout her elementary and high school years and was also a part of band and choir all 4 years of high school. She loved to write songs, was involved in musicals, worship events, band concerts and more. With Holly's love for worshiping Jesus, and her love for the youth and church, she started leading worship in 2001 when she was a Junior in high school. In 2002 she graduated at Lima Temple Christian School and went off to attend Bible college at Christ For the Nations Institute. She began to study Theology and Worship ministry during her years there. She served on her school's Praise Band Team, was a Student Worship Team leader, while taking vocal, piano, and guitar lessons at the school, and was highly involved in their choir. She graduated CFNI in 2006 with a heart for the student body and the vision of Christ for the Nations. Upon graduation from CFNI, Holly served on many worship teams serving the local church in the Dallas area. She then later returned to her hometown in Lima, OH to serve under her father (who is the Lead Pastor of New Hope Christian Center) for 8 years. In 2016 God called her and her husband to move to San Diego, CA where she was the Worship Pastor for over 6 years at Newbreak Church, taught piano, guitar, and voice lessons, and also served in a movement called Awaken The Dawn where they hosted regular Tent Worship Gatherings that lasted between 24-50 hours of non-stop worship. She was the Core Team Leader over ATD San Diego from 2019-2022 when God then called Holly, her husband Shane, and their three children (Eden, Judah & River) to move to the Dallas area to serve the movement that God is stirring here. She is currently attending UpperRoom Church and serving at UpperRoom Frisco Campus while her and her husband run their own business (The Green Willow Studio). Currently, they are developing 24+ hour worship gatherings around the Dallas area as an outreach to the lost and broken. Holly dedicated her life to worship and ministry when she was a child while growing up in a Pastor’s home. She is passionate about this next generation to lead with the heart of Jesus and to also have the tools to help them lead and use their gifts with excellence.
